No deposit bonuses

Why a no deposit bonus is not credited: six causes, in order

A code typed, an account created, and no spins: the reason is nearly always one of six, and they can be checked in a fixed order from the account itself before anyone writes to support. This page takes the six in the order the reviews met them, with what to do for each, what support can fix, and the one that has no fix.

One: the spins are waiting to be activated

At many brands the code credits the bonus to the account as an offer that has to be switched on: it sits in the profile under bonuses, promotions or my offers, with an activate button, and the spins do not appear in the game until it is pressed. The offer has an expiry, sometimes short, and an unactivated bonus vanishes on it. This is the cause behind most "not credited" tickets the reviews saw, and it is solved from the profile in a minute. The bonus card for each brand here says whether activation is a second step and where the switch is; the claiming page walks through it per form.

Where to look

Profile, then bonuses or promotions, then active or available offers. On mobile it is often behind the avatar or the menu. The spins show in the slot itself only after activation.

Two: the code went in after the field closed

At brands where the promo code field is on the registration form, the field closes when the account is created, and a code entered afterward in the profile is ignored or refused. If the form was submitted with the field empty, the account exists without the tag and the offer is not attached. Some brands allow support to apply a code retroactively if asked before any deposit and soon after registration; others do not, and the terms say which. Ask in writing with the code and the registration time, and if the answer is no, the account is a plain account and the offer is gone for it. A second account to get the code is the one thing not to do; the twice page explains what the one-account clause does to both.

The form is the proof

A recognised code changes the form: a tick, the offer's name, "code applied". If nothing changed, the code was not accepted, and the verification page shows what acceptance looks like on each form.

Three: the country is restricted

Every casino here publishes a list of countries it does not accept, and the registration form does not always enforce it: the account is created, the code is accepted, and the bonus is withheld or removed when the country is read from the address, the phone prefix or, at verification, the passport. A player registered through a VPN gets furthest and loses most, because the account passes the form and fails at the document, and the balance is voided under the terms accepted at registration. The bonus card for each brand prints the markets it closes from our coverage, and the country pages list the brands open to each; the fix is a brand that accepts you, and there is no other.

Not the bonus, the country

A restricted-country account has no bonus to recover. Close it and take a code from a brand that accepts the country, using the country hub.

Four to six: confirmation, duplicates, an ended offer

Four: the phone or the email was never confirmed. Many brands credit the spins only after the code sent by SMS or the link sent by email is used, and an unconfirmed account sits with the offer pending; the profile shows a confirm prompt, and the fix is the code. Five: the account failed a duplicate check. One account per person, household, device and IP address is the rule at nearly every brand, and a registration that matches an existing account on any of those is created without the bonus or closed; if the match is a household member's account, the terms still apply, and if it is a false match, support can review it with documents. Six: the offer ended or changed. Casinos withdraw and alter partner offers, and a code that credited last month may credit nothing this week; the bonus pages here carry the date each code was last verified, and a code older than that date is worth checking against the card before registering.

What support can fix is a missed activation, a confirmation that did not arrive, a false duplicate with documents, and at some brands a code entered late. What it cannot fix is a restricted country or an offer that has ended, and a ticket about either gets the answer the terms give.

The order to check

  • Profile: is the bonus waiting to be activated
  • Form: did the code change anything when typed
  • Card: is the country on the closed list
  • Email and phone: confirmed
  • Any earlier account at the brand
  • Card date: is the code still live

Questions about a bonus not credited

I registered with the code and got nothing. Why

Most often because the spins are credited but not activated: at many brands the bonus sits in the profile under bonuses or promotions until it is switched on, and expires if it is not. Open the profile before opening a ticket. The second most common cause is a country on the restricted list, where the form accepts the code and the bonus is withheld.

Can support add the code after registration

At some brands, if asked before any deposit and if the account was created recently; at others the field closes at registration and nothing can be applied later. Ask in writing, give the code and the registration time, and accept the answer the terms give.

Does a VPN cause this

It causes worse. An account registered through a VPN passes the form and fails at verification, where the passport shows the real country; if that country is restricted, the balance is voided. Register from where you live, and pick a brand that accepts it.

The bonus appeared and then vanished

It expired unactivated, or it was removed at a duplicate-account check, or a bet over the max bet voided it. The account history shows which; the voided bonus page covers the clauses.
