Count both types of Scatter, then count the gold spirals

Five touching candies start a tumble sequence
A paying cluster contains at least five matching ordinary symbols connected horizontally or vertically on the 49-position grid. A chain can bend and spread across several rows. Diagonal contact alone does not join symbols, and five matching candies scattered into separate unconnected patches do not make one five-symbol cluster. There are no fixed payline paths to select.
Each winning cluster pays, its winning symbols disappear, the remaining symbols fall down, and replacements enter from above. A replacement can form another paying cluster, which starts another tumble. That sequence continues until the grid produces no new winning combination. Separate cluster awards add together, and the complete base-spin sequence is then credited to the balance.
The payout unit behind the candy values
The native coin model uses 20 base-bet units for a normal total bet. An ordinary symbol award is its listed coin amount multiplied by the base-bet unit. The paytable here converts every value to a multiple of normal total bet by dividing the coin amount by 20, before spot multipliers apply.
Five green stars have a native award of 8 units, so they pay 8 / 20 = 0.4x normal total bet. At a hypothetical €1 normal total bet, that is €0.40 without a spot multiplier. The figure 8 is not an 8x total-bet award.
The grid remembers where a winning symbol exploded
The first winning explosion marks a position. A second winning explosion at that same position creates a 2x spot multiplier. Further winning explosions there double it again, through 4x, 8x and later powers of two, up to the 1024x spot ceiling. A symbol merely landing on a marked position does not count as a winning explosion.
A spot multiplier applies to a winning combination that reaches that position. When one cluster covers several multiplied positions, add those spot multipliers and apply that sum to the cluster's ordinary award. Other clusters keep their own applicable calculations.
Hypothetical cluster with two existing multipliers
Take the five-green-star cluster paying 0.4x normal total bet. If it includes positions already showing 2x and 4x at evaluation, the combined multiplier is 2 + 4 = 6x. Its award is 0.4 x 6 = 2.4x normal total bet, or €2.40 for a hypothetical €1 normal bet. Multiplying 2 x 4 would give the wrong multiplier.
One base spin
Marks and multipliers stay for that base spin's tumble sequence. When tumbling ends, they clear. The next unrelated normal base spin does not inherit that accumulated grid.
One Free Spins round
Marks and multipliers remain for the whole feature round. Winning explosions can build them across successive Free Spins and their tumbles, rather than starting a fresh multiplier grid after each spin.
Free Spins use special feature reels, and their accumulated wins are awarded at the end of the round. When the total reaches the 50,000x cap, the round ends immediately and remaining Free Spins are forfeited. An added retrigger extends the number of spins; it cannot raise that cap.
