Casino cashback: compare the base before the rate
Casino cashback returns a percentage of a defined amount, but that amount changes from one programme to another. Play Fortuna and Booi use a weekly casino calculation after deductions. Vavada works from the casino account's history since registration and subtracts cashback already paid. Cactus uses deposits minus withdrawals for the week. A higher percentage can therefore produce a smaller award, and the award may still need wagering.

Keep each calculation and its deductions in their specified order.
The calculation base is the first comparison to make. Deposits are not the same as bets, losing bets are not the same as net results, and a monthly award need not be calculated from that month's activity alone. Use the records named by the programme before applying its percentage.
Play Fortuna: subtract every named deduction
- Calculation and eligible play
Play Fortuna's casino cashback calculation is (eligible bets minus all winnings, credits and unfinished-round amounts) multiplied by the current status rate. Sports bets do not count. The product rules also exclude dealer tips from cashback calculations. Leaving credits or unfinished rounds out of an estimate can overstate the award even when the bets and winnings are correct.
- Current status rate
The status rates are Iron 4%, Bronze 4%, Silver 5%, Gold 5%, Platinum 6% and Diamond 7%. Only Diamond receives the advertised 7% rate; each account uses its current status. Use your current status when comparing the award; a higher tier is not a reason to increase a planned gambling budget.
- Account currencies
The weekly calculation covers the preceding seven days. The product rules say activity across all account currencies is included and cashback is credited in the active currency. Do not add unlike currencies at face value or invent a conversion rate to reproduce that total. The account's calculation is needed when activity spans currencies.
- Award and claim
Cashback is calculated on Friday at 00:00 UTC and is made available within an hour, with real-money balance as the destination. Collect it in the Personal Account within seven days. An unclaimed amount is replaced when the next cashback is calculated. That hour measures the casino cashback award. Bank receipt has a separate payment timeline.
- Currency-specific credit floors
The published credit floors include PLN5, EUR1 and USD1. The product rules also list CAD1, RUB60, BRL5, INR80, NZD1.5 and CLP800. Use each cashback floor in its stated currency. Do not treat the amounts as exchange-rate equivalents or minimum deposit and withdrawal amounts.
Booi: real-balance bets, with a fixed UTC week
- Calculation and real-balance scope
Booi calculates cashback from real-balance casino bets across all account currencies minus winnings, other real-balance credits and unfinished-round amounts for the period, multiplied by the status rate. Counting every stake visible in a mixed real-and-bonus session as a qualifying real-balance bet would overstate that base. The published all-currency rule does not supply a conversion rate for an outside estimate.
- Current status rate
Wooden Lemur and Bronze Eagle receive 4%; Silver Crocodile and Golden Lion receive 5%; Platinum Elephant receives 6%; Diamond Gorilla receives 7%. Use the actual current status. Do not substitute the maximum rate or another casino's similarly named tier.
- Exact weekly period and claim
Booi defines the week as Friday 00:00:00 through Thursday 23:59:59 UTC. The Friday award is credited within an hour from 00:00 UTC to Main Balance, with no additional bonus wagering. Claim it through the Profile within seven days; an unclaimed older award is replaced by the new one.
- Activation floor
The cashback page says a weekly award below USD1 or EUR1 cannot be activated. That does not establish a PLN1 cashback floor or a universal minimum bank withdrawal. A claimable cashback amount and an available payout method are separate checks.
Vavada: previous cashback stays in the formula
- Lifetime calculation
Vavada calculates 10% × (all account debits minus all account credits) minus the total cashback previously paid, using the casino history from registration. Its terms describe the underlying loss as total bets minus winnings. Payment is calculated automatically on the first day of each month. Looking only at losses in the latest calendar month, or applying 10% while omitting the previous cashback deduction, gives a different answer.
- Negative result
If winnings exceed bets, Vavada says no cashback is provided. This specific rule does not establish a shared negative-base, debt or carry-forward algorithm for the other programmes. If an estimate produces a negative result or disagrees with the account, ask for the programme's calculation breakdown. A guessed rule can change the result.
- Casino versus sports
Qualifying casino wagers can include slots, table games and live casino games. Pre-match and live sports bets are excluded from cashback unless a specific promotion explicitly says otherwise. Vavada's status system separately counts slot and sports bets towards status progression. Sports helping a status does not mean those sports bets earn casino cashback.
- Activation and wagering
Activate or decline cashback in the profile. Unactivated cashback is valid for 14 days; after activation it enters bonus balance and requires x5 wagering. The cashback clause says subsequent bets count towards this wagering. The 14 days is the activation window. The cashback clause does not state a 14-day deadline for completing playthrough.
- Bonus cashout conditions
Bonus balance cannot be withdrawn directly. The general bonus terms limit payout of winnings formed by betting bonus money to ten times the accrued bonus. Creating a withdrawal request forfeits activated bonuses, and the terms say they are not restored if that request is rejected. Finish or deliberately decline the cashback before requesting a withdrawal with an active bonus; x5 alone does not describe the full cashout conditions.
Cactus: deposits minus withdrawals is a different base
- Calculation period
Cactus returns 3-30% of deposits minus withdrawals during the calculation period, depending on loyalty level. The published week runs from Sunday 00:00 to Saturday 23:59. The policy does not identify the timezone, so those times should not be relabelled UTC or Polish local time.
- Funding movements
This calculation tracks funding movements. Total stakes, the sum of losing rounds and the weekly casino net base used by Play Fortuna and Booi measure different things. A withdrawal changes this base even when it is unrelated to the result of a particular round. The 30% maximum cannot be compared directly with another casino's 7% without first comparing the bases.
- Activation and level conditions
Activate the accrued cashback in the account's Bonuses section within three days. Its specific wagering range is x3-x5 by loyalty level; that replaces the general x30 rule for bonuses without a different stated wager. The policy does not supply a complete level-to-rate-and-wager table, so a 30% award must not automatically be paired with x3.
- Credit floor and completion clock
The cashback minimum is PLN2, EUR1, USD1, RUB20, UAH10 or KZT20 in the respective currency. These are reward floors. The general completion deadline is no more than seven days from activation, unless the particular promotion sets a different period. The three-day activation window and the completion deadline are two separate clocks.
Which balance receives the reward?
Play Fortuna and Booi place their cashback in real or Main Balance with no additional cashback bonus wager. This makes them useful starting points if avoiding another bonus playthrough is the main criterion. It does not remove conditions that already apply to deposited funds or make the casino's award time a payment-receipt promise.
Play Fortuna and Booi: ordinary turnover still applies
Both product rules require turnover of at least three times the sum of deposits since the game-account balance was last zero before withdrawal. This is a separate deposited-funds rule, and play already completed may have satisfied it. Do not turn it into a new x3 requirement on every cashback credit.
If a player refuses the required deposit turnover, each casino may withhold up to 10% of the requested withdrawal. Play Fortuna may also cancel winnings from bonuses, free spins and accrued points; Booi names bonus and free-spin winnings. These consequences apply when the required deposit turnover is refused. They do not establish a fee charged on every withdrawal. Identity checks, the permitted payout destination and the selected payment method still apply.
Cactus: real money is spent before bonus money
With an active Cactus bonus, deposited real funds are used first, followed by bonus funds. Winnings from real-account play are transferred to bonus balance. A real-money stake therefore does not mean its winnings remain immediately withdrawable while the bonus is active. Only one bonus can be active at a time.
The maximum stake per game action with an active bonus is PLN20, EUR5 or USD5 in those currencies; the policy also lists RUB500, UAH220 and KZT2,500. Card-game and roulette bets do not count towards wagering. An excluded bet can still cost money and contribute nothing towards the target. Account for these conditions before activating cashback, especially if the games or stakes you normally use would not fit them.
Vavada and Cactus therefore require a decision about accepting bonus conditions as well as receiving a rebate. The amount shown as cashback is not a promise of the amount that will reach a bank or wallet. Subsequent game results, the applicable bonus rules and payout checks remain separate.
Work out the rebate before comparing it
Use one programme's ledger, one applicable period and consistent currency units for each estimate. The following invented account figures illustrate the published calculations; they are not observed player results or promised awards.
A Play Fortuna Iron calculation
Suppose eligible bets are 1,000 units, winnings 800, credits 50 and unfinished-round amounts 25. The base is 1,000 − 800 − 50 − 25 = 125 units. Iron's 4% rate gives 5 units of cashback. Applying 4% to the 200-unit bets-minus-winnings difference would incorrectly give 8 units. The actual currency floor and any account-currency conversion still need to be satisfied.
A Vavada lifetime calculation
Suppose the relevant lifetime debits are 2,000 units, credits 1,500 and cashback already paid totals 30. The calculation is (2,000 − 1,500) × 10% − 30 = 20 units. It does not produce 50 units of new cashback. If the 20-unit award is activated, x5 means a 100-unit wagering target under its cashback rules; that target measures turnover. It does not predict losses or define a deposit requirement.
A Cactus funding-movement calculation
Suppose deposits for the week are 200 units and withdrawals are 100. At an applicable 3% rate, (200 − 100) × 3% = 3 units of cashback. If the account's specific wager is x3, the target would be 9 units; if it is x5, it would be 15. These conditional illustrations do not establish which wager accompanies a 3% loyalty rate. Eligible games, stake limits, the reward floor and the completion deadline still apply.
A rebate reduces only part of the amount defined by its formula. It does not reimburse every losing round or make continued play profitable. Compare the award you can actually claim and its attached conditions before choosing a programme.
Why rakeback percentages belong in a separate comparison
A turnover rebate would apply its stated rate to qualifying stakes. House-edge rakeback instead uses a portion of the casino's eligible calculated edge. Neither base is interchangeable with an account's actual losses or deposits minus withdrawals.
Yeet illustrates the distinction. Its Instant Rakeback terms give Bronze through Eternal tiers 5% of the eligible house edge generated, while Chairman receives 10%. Game house edges and promotional weighting vary. For example, 5% of an already determined 20-unit eligible edge is 1 unit; it is not 5% of the stake or 5% of that session's loss. Sports bets generate no rakeback under these terms.
At Bronze and above it accumulates automatically and can be claimed immediately through Rewards → Claim after login. The claimed amount enters Main Balance; the terms describe casino or sports use, or withdrawal subject to the applicable rules. There is no claim expiry, but fair-use conditions permit adjustment, removal or cancellation for abuse, manipulation, low-risk play or multiple accounts. Country fit and the next useful step
Check country fit before choosing by percentage. Country targeting, a translated website or a currency amount in bonus terms does not establish successful registration, cashback entitlement or an available local payout method for a particular account. Poland and the wider country shortlist
All four programmes are included in this Polish-focused comparison. Vavada is also compared for Croatia, Romania, Greece, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy, Czechia, Estonia and Latvia. Play Fortuna and Booi's published restrictions override a general country shortlist. Both exclude Germany, Austria, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Sweden, among other countries. Their restriction clauses concern citizenship and residence or location. The language chosen on the site does not change those conditions. Germany is therefore excluded for Booi even if it appears in a broader casino list. Poland's absence from a restriction list is not a tested positive eligibility result.
Vavada's country exclusions include Germany, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovakia, Sweden, France, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Slovenia, Lithuania and Cyprus.
