Online casino Netherlands: the market almost every brand closes
The Netherlands is the one market where this site cannot build the list it builds everywhere else, and the honest page says why. Nearly every online casino we review names the Netherlands in its restricted clause, the Anjouan licence excludes it outright, and 1Win prints on its own licence page that its Curacao licence does not work there. What follows is the closed list in full, the one exception in our data, and what the terms do to a VPN.

The list
The one brand whose terms do not name the Netherlands
No ranked brand names the Netherlands as served, so this list is built on the weakest rule we use, a brand that simply does not list the country as restricted, and it holds a single card. Auf carries no published score and no Dutch interface; we show it because it is what the data shows, not because we recommend it.
Who shuts the door
The closed list in full, from the brands' own terms
Every large brand we review names the Netherlands. Stake lists it among its prohibited jurisdictions. Vodka names the Netherlands and its territories in its own restricted clause. Vavada carries a long-standing block on the Netherlands and the Dutch Caribbean. Play Fortuna has it in its prohibited-countries clause. Bitstarz bars real-money play from the Netherlands in fiat and in coin. Cat, Daddy, Gama, Winz, Weiss, Fairspin, Casino-X, Riobet, Cryptoboss, Duel, Unlim, Betico and BC Game all carry the Netherlands in their restricted lists, BC Game on a list so short it names only a handful of countries. 1xSlots names the Netherlands in the written blacklist in its terms. 1Win states on its own licence page that its Curacao licence does not work in the Netherlands.
The second layer is the licence rather than the casino. The Anjouan licensing side lists the Netherlands among its excluded territories, so an Anjouan brand closes the Netherlands whether or not its own terms mention it. Among the brands without a partner deal, NV, Ice, Verde, Vox, Energy and Yep all name the Netherlands too. The one brand in our data that does not is Auf, whose terms could not be read directly, and Auf itself runs under Anjouan, so even that exception rests on the absence of a line and is covered by the licence's own exclusion.

The trap
What a VPN does to a Dutch account, according to the terms
A blocked lobby can be opened with a VPN; a blocked payout cannot. The terms are explicit about the order of events. Play Fortuna calls VPN use to get round its prohibited-countries clause a breach and grounds for confiscation. Vodka forbids a VPN or proxy in its own clause and notes that players from the countries it closes can only reach the site through one, which is the point. Fairspin lets itself void and confiscate winnings when verification shows the player resides in a restricted jurisdiction, and it still publishes interfaces in languages of the countries it closes, so a sign-up goes through and the problem surfaces at the first withdrawal.
Verification is where a Dutch reader is found: the document, the address on the utility bill, the bank the card belongs to. A deposit that went in through a VPN sits in a balance the terms let the casino keep. We do not suggest a way round that, because there is none that survives the payout.
