Big Bass Bonanza Keeping It Reel: the landing net

The Golden Wild gives Big Bass Bonanza Keeping It Reel its extra catch: it collects the Fish Money on the reels and the value waiting in a landing net.

Uncollected Fish enter that net during free spins, while random escapes reduce it. The fisherman trail can then raise collections through 1x, 2x, 3x and 10x stages.

Choose this edition for that second collection route. Its five reels and ten paylines remain straightforward; the interest is in watching which Fish get collected now, which enter the net, and when a Golden Wild appears.

Keeping It Reel has its own catch

The catalogue name Big Bass - Keeping it Reel and the longer Big Bass Bonanza Keeping It Reel name identify the same edition. Pragmatic Play announced it on 24 October 2022; its artwork also carries Reel Kingdom branding. The familiar fishing setting combines a boat, a net beneath the water and fisherman symbols on the reels.

The Golden Wild and landing net are the reason to distinguish Keeping It Reel from the other Big Bass games. This edition uses ten paylines in both the base game and free spins. It has no separate base-game respin round or Hold & Spinner coin feature.

Uncollected Fish enter the net; Golden Wilds collect it

A Fish symbol can pay as part of an ordinary line combination and can carry a separate random Fish Money value. These are two calculations. During free spins, each fisherman Wild collects every visible Fish Money value. When several fishermen land together, each collects those values separately.

Fish Money that lands without collection is stored in the landing net. The net changes through the feature: on each free spin, a random Fish with a random value escapes and its value is subtracted. An ordinary fisherman collects the Fish on the reels. A Golden Wild collects those visible Fish and the current value of the net.

Ordinary fisherman Wild

Collects all visible Fish Money. It can also substitute in an ordinary line combination, except for Scatter.

Golden Wild

Collects all visible Fish Money plus the current landing-net value. It appears during the free-spin feature.

Keeping It Reel landing-net collection Uncollected Fish Money enters a landing net that loses random Fish values during free spins and can be collected by a Golden Wild. Fish Money on the reels Visible values left uncollected enter the landing net. Landing net during free spins A random Fish value escapes and is subtracted each spin. When a Golden Wild lands It collects the current net value plus the Fish on the reels.
Feature mechanism: storage, random escape and Golden Wild collection.

The net keeps a second collection target visible

The diagram follows uncollected values during free spins. The current net amount is used when a Golden Wild collects; an ordinary fisherman collects the Fish on the reels.

A larger net creates an additional amount for a future Golden Wild to collect. Random escape can reduce that amount before the collection. The displayed net is therefore a changing feature value, rather than a cash amount already paid to your balance.

A hypothetical Golden Wild collection

Take a €0.20 base stake. Suppose the Fish on the reels carry 2x, 5x and 10x, and the net contains 40x after that spin's escape. At the 3x collection stage, a Golden Wild collects:

Fish plus net, multiplied at level 3
(2 + 5 + 10 + 40) × 3 × €0.20 = €34.20

An ordinary fisherman in the same example collects only the 17x on the reels: 17 × 3 × €0.20 = €10.20. An ordinary line win, if present, is calculated separately.

Those Fish and net values are chosen to explain the arithmetic. They describe a hypothetical outcome, without a probability estimate or a claim that every listed value belongs to a fixed Fish-value set.

Two ordinary fishermen also collect independently. With the same 17x in visible Fish Money, a 2x stage and €0.20 base stake, the combined collection is 17 × 2 fishermen × 2 × €0.20 = €13.60. That calculation includes no landing-net collection.

The fisherman trail adds spins in later batches

Three Scatters award 10 free spins, four award 15, and five award 20. Scatters can appear across the reels and have no separate cash payout. When two land in the base game without a third, a hook can sometimes bring another Scatter into view and trigger the feature.

Both ordinary Wilds and Golden Wilds count along the fisherman trail. Every fourth collected Wild awards another batch of 10 free spins. The new batch begins after the previous batch ends, with the collection multiplier assigned to that later stage.

Level 1
1x collection

The initial 10, 15 or 20 spins.

Level 2
2x collection

10 additional spins after four collected Wilds.

Level 3
3x collection

Another 10-spin batch at the next four-Wild milestone.

Level 4
10x collection

The final additional 10-spin batch. No further trail retrigger.

The multiplier applies to Fish Money and net money collected by fishermen. Ordinary line wins keep their usual paytable values. Reaching a milestone also does not retroactively multiply a collection from an earlier stage.

A feature starting with 20 spins and earning all three extra batches schedules 20 + 10 + 10 + 10 = 50 spins. That is the longest scheduled trail in this calculation, subject to the round ending immediately if it reaches the 10,000x win cap. A 10-spin or 15-spin start has a shorter total with the same three possible extra batches.

Dynamite, a boat and a hook respond to different reel results

Fishermen, no Fish: dynamite

At the end of a free spin, dynamite can randomly add Fish Money in random positions for the fishermen to collect.

Fishermen, no Fish: boat

A boat can instead randomly drag a net across the grid, replacing random symbols with Fish Money.

Fish, no fisherman: hook

A hook can pull a random reel upward and bring fisherman symbols into view. The Fish then have a collector.

These are conditional random modifiers on the free-spin reels. The named condition explains when a modifier can occur; it does not mean that the animation follows every qualifying result. A guaranteed dynamite sequence or fixed hook frequency would change how the feature works.

Ten paylines, with a two-symbol payout for the float

Ordinary combinations start on the leftmost reel and continue across adjacent reels from left to right. A match must follow a payline. Only its highest qualifying award is paid on that line, while wins on different paylines are added together.

Each payout here is a multiplier of the total base stake for one winning line. The float, or bobber, begins paying at two matching symbols; the other ordinary symbols begin at three. Fish have an ordinary line payout in addition to their separate collection value.

Translate a line multiplier into money

In a hypothetical spin at a €0.20 total base stake, four fishing rods on one qualifying line pay 15 × €0.20 = €3. Five rods on that same line pay 100x; you receive that highest award rather than adding the three-, four- and five-symbol awards together. A separate winning payline can add its own award.

The fisherman Wild can appear on every reel during free spins and substitutes for ordinary symbols except Scatter. Its cash collection is a separate feature award. Scatter, ordinary Wild and Golden Wild have no ordinary cash row in this paytable.

Ante costs 50% extra; a free-spin purchase costs 100x

Keeping It Reel documents two paid options beside ordinary spins. Ante changes the bet multiplier from 10 to 15 at the same denomination, raising the spin cost by 50% and placing more Scatters on the reels. Buy Free Spins is disabled while Ante is active.

Ante at a hypothetical €0.20 base stake

€0.20 × 15 / 10 = €0.30 per spin. The extra cost changes the Scatter setup. It does not provide a guaranteed trigger or a stated doubled chance.

Buy Free Spins at the same base stake

€0.20 × 100 = €20 for the purchase. The purchased trigger can randomly land three, four or five Scatters, awarding 10, 15 or 20 starting spins respectively.

These calculations illustrate the documented options. Their presence in a particular casino's menu is a separate setting; ordinary play, Ante and the purchase are not interchangeable costs. Select the base stake first and read the actual displayed option price before choosing an option.

The pictured game-help configuration displays a $0.10 minimum and $375 maximum. That panel does not separate an ordinary-spin maximum from an Ante maximum. Keep the displayed currency and mode together when comparing your own bet menu; this displayed dollar range is not a EUR or PLN stake range.

The round maximum is 10,000x bet. If total winnings reach that cap, the round ends immediately, the capped win is awarded and any remaining features are forfeited. A scheduled ten-spin retrigger cannot extend a round that has already reached the maximum.

96.07% is one of three RTP configurations

The catalogue lists 96.07% RTP, and the game has documented 95.07% and 94.07% variants as well. In the 96.07% configuration, the normal game, Ante and Buy Free Spins each have a stated theoretical return of 96.07%. That equality applies to this configuration; it does not assign the same option figures to either lower variant.

RTP expresses theoretical return across a very large number of stakes. It is not the chance that a spin wins, the percentage of spins that pay, or a forecast for a feature. A hypothetical €10,000 in total stakes gives the following long-run arithmetic:

96.07% configuration
€9,607

€10,000 × 0.9607

95.07% configuration
€9,507

€10,000 × 0.9507

94.07% configuration
€9,407

€10,000 × 0.9407

Here, turnover means summed stakes, including money staked again. Those figures are theoretical calculations rather than a predicted payout from a €10,000 deposit. Two configurations with the same name and artwork can have different RTP, so the percentage in the game information panel is the useful comparison.

Keeping It Reel is labelled high volatility. Its native help shows five lightning icons; a separate overview uses the value 10 without a denominator. Neither label supplies a numerical hit rate or the odds of reaching the fourth fisherman level. The net, later multipliers and 10,000x cap describe possible feature outcomes, not how often they happen.

Recognise the edition before choosing a demo or casino

The first-party product page uses the short Big Bass - Keeping it Reel title. Its promotional cover depicts the game in a handheld-device frame. The landing net and Golden Wild identify the edition when several Big Bass games appear beside each other.

That action opens the provider's product and demo-entry page for this exact edition. It does not open a casino account or purchase a feature.

Read the total cash stake in the bet menu

In the documented interface, the information icon opens game rules. Plus and minus open or change the bet choices, while the menu opens settings. Bet and credit labels can switch between cash and coin views; the bet menu contains denomination and coins-per-line choices. Read the total cash stake as well as the coin view when using the payout multipliers.

Documented settings include quick spin, the introductory screen, ambient music, sound effects and game history. Autoplay and a skip-screens option also appear in the help. These controls can differ between casino configurations.

Keeping It Reel suits a reader who wants a familiar ten-line game with a visible second collection target in its free spins. Its random net depletion is the tradeoff: a Fish value entering the net is still waiting for a Golden Wild collection. Choose the exact edition first, then compare the RTP and the cost of the mode you intend to use.

The net separates this edition from Splash and Hold & Spinner

Keeping It Reel

Choose its Golden Wild and landing net for a second collection route during free spins. The base game has no separate respin round.

Big Bass alternatives

Hold & Spinner has its own coin feature, while Splash is a different edition with base respins. Their features do not become part of Keeping It Reel because the titles share Big Bass branding.

Compare the casino account around the game

The game rules cover the net and its collection stages. A casino comparison also needs account currencies, the game catalogue and bonus choices. The Vavada review explains those wider choices before you select an account.
