Cryptocurrencies for gambling: which coin to use, by the cashier

Stake prints a withdrawal minimum and a network fee beside every coin it lists, and that printed figure is the first of three tests: what the cashier shows, what the chain charged to move the money on the day, and whether the price moves as your balance sits in the account. This guide puts six cryptocurrencies for gambling, Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT, Litecoin, Dogecoin and TRON, through those three tests, with the figures taken from the terms and the fee tracker.

The three tests: cashier, chain, price

The cashier test asks what the brand prints for the coin. Stake prints a minimum and a network fee for each of its twenty-one coins and states no maximum: Bitcoin from 0.00002504 BTC with 0.00001571 deducted, Ethereum from 0.001 ETH with 0.00067447 deducted, USDT from 2.5 with a flat 1.0, Dogecoin from 5.49925970 DOGE with 0.52151198. Play Fortuna prints its daily ceiling in the coin, 0.12 BTC, 4 ETH and 200 LTC at the base loyalty level. Booi prints unlimited for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin, XRP, TRON and USDT next to a 10,000 euro daily cap on fiat. A coin with a printed figure is a coin you can plan around.

The chain test asks what the transfer cost on the day. On the tracker we read, an ERC-20 transfer cost about 0.0359 dollars, a TRC-20 transfer 2.12 to 4.43, BNB Chain about 0.0218, Polygon about 0.0015; Ethereum ranged from 0.004 to 0.37 across the week while TRON held near 2.06 to 2.19. The price test asks whether the balance moves while you play: USDT is designed not to, Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Dogecoin and TRX are not.

Chain figures are readings from the fee tracker on the day we checked, not constants; cashier figures are from each brand's terms as read for its review.

Why a stablecoin wins for most players, and where it does not

USDT passes the price test by design and the cashier test almost everywhere: nearly every brand in the crypto hub holds a USDT balance, and Fairspin goes furthest by recording every deposit, wager and win in USDT while showing a fiat label. The cost of USDT is the network question. Sent on Ethereum it cost a few cents on the reading day; sent on TRON it cost two to four dollars plus the receiver rule, 13.4 TRX to a fresh address and 6.4 to one that holds USDT. Booi lists it on five networks, Rox, Legzo and Spinbetter on two, so the cheap route usually exists; you just have to read the label.

Where USDT loses is the wallet. To pay the fee in USDT rather than in a native coin you need Trust Wallet's FlexGas on Ethereum, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, OP Mainnet or Base, or the GasFree protocol on TRON through TronLink, Guarda, Klever or eDir. Bitcoin and Litecoin need no second coin for the fee, which is the one thing that keeps them simpler.

When a moving coin is the right choice

A volatile coin is the right choice when the cashier prints its figures and you already hold it. Stake's per-coin table and Bitstarz's zero-fee band between 50 and 50,000 euro make Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin predictable on the casino side; Play Fortuna's coin-priced ceilings do the same for BTC, ETH and LTC. Litecoin adds nothing the others lack except that Kent still lists it after dropping Dogecoin, which says something about how cashiers prune. Ethereum is the coin to time: a plain transfer burns 21,000 units of gas whatever happens, so the only variable is the price of a unit, and the week we read ran from 0.004 to 0.37 dollars per transfer.

The clauses that follow every coin are the same: Jet pays crypto only on winnings from crypto deposits, 1xSlots charges a fee if a crypto deposit becomes a fiat balance and excludes crypto accounts from its welcome package, Vodka deducts 8 percent from a payout whose deposit was not wagered once. Choose the coin, then keep it as the coin from deposit to withdrawal.

What the coin does not change: the check before the first payout

No coin removes verification; a few brands print when it starts. Sol clears up to 1,250 euro per withdrawal without extra documents, Casino-X up to 1,000 dollars, Duel until lifetime deposits pass 5,000 euro, Legzo adds checks above 1,250 euro and a source-of-funds request above 10,000. Play Fortuna, Cactus, Bitstarz, 1Win, Weiss and Fairspin verify before the first payout as a rule; Stake may ask high rollers; Vavada and Vodka ask rarely. The no KYC page sorts them, and the coin you choose changes none of it.

Quick answers

Which cryptocurrency is best for online casinos

For most players a stablecoin, because the balance does not move while the money sits in the account, and USDT is the coin nearly every crypto cashier in our reviews holds; Fairspin runs its whole ledger in it. The network matters more than the coin: on the day we read the tracker USDT cost a few cents to move on Ethereum and two to four dollars on TRON.

Is Bitcoin still worth using at a casino

Yes where the cashier prints its figures. Stake publishes a Bitcoin minimum of 0.00002504 BTC and a fee of 0.00001571 BTC with no maximum; Bitstarz pays coins at zero fee between 50 and 50,000 euro per payout; Play Fortuna prints its ceiling in the coin, 0.12 BTC a day at base. The price moves while you play, which is the cost.

Which coin has the lowest fees

On the day we read the tracker, a transfer on Polygon cost about 0.0015 dollars, on BNB Chain about 0.0218, on Ethereum about 0.0359, on TRON 2.12 to 4.43. Ethereum swung a hundredfold across the week; TRON held steady. The cheapest coin is whichever the cashier lists on the cheapest network that day.

Does the coin change the bonus

It can. 1xSlots excludes crypto accounts from its welcome package and gives coins a deposit boost instead; Winz gives coin players a 20 percent daily cashback with no cap; Jet pays crypto only on winnings from crypto deposits. The coin does not change the wagering, only the unit it is counted in.
